I think these chips are very well named. The word “nice” is the perfect way to describe just about every aspect of this salty snack. That could be seen as a good or bad thing, I’ll lean more towards good myself. The chips are crunchy and maybe a little small, but only in that there are no particularly large chips in the bag. The flavour is subtle, but very obviously chicken flavoured. The saltiness is nicely balanced and they’re not overly oily either. I totally enjoyed eating this bag of chips and would happily eat another.

The only negative about these chips is that they’re really nothing innovative either. Not that you want innovative every single time you open a bag of chips. It’s nice to have innovative once in a while, but it’s also “nice” to have simple as well. Kitco says they’re going to give you a bag of chicken flavoured potato chips and that’s exactly what you get, nothing more and nothing less.

The only part of me that’s disappointed is the part that has had to write this review. I really have nothing bad to say about these chips, but since they’re so simple I have nothing really to tell you about them either. They’re not really boring, but they’re not really exciting either. The packaging claims that they’re “nutritious”, so I could question that, but it seems kind of out of place for a site that reviews snacks and candy to debate the nutritional value of a potato chip.

If you’re craving a bag of chips, Nice chips will fit that craving. While I haven’t tried other flavours, these chicken flavoured chips checked every box I needed and didn’t disappoint.
